Never!!!  But you might be wasting money and not even realize it.  If you really want to make sure you are utilizing every penny that goes into your bank account, make sure you are NOT doing any of these things.  These hidden ways of wasting money most people don’t even notice. So lets get to it!

Being Unorganized

This is an issue I still struggle with.  Being unorganized it like you are literally throwing money out of the window.  Clutter will cost you!  Trust me!  I know.  My daughters clothes were so unorganized.  I couldn’t find things when I needed them.  We had no system in place.  I found myself just buying more stuff because I couldn’t find things when I needed them.  This all changed once I organized their closet and drawers.

How we paid off $60,000 of debt in 3 years!

YHow we paid off $60,000 of and fully funded our emergency fund in 3 years!ou read that right. We paid off over $60,000 of debt in 3 years! Not only did we pay the debt off, we fully funded our emergency fund during that time as well. This was no easy task as we were faced with setbacks and temptations almost daily. So first let me explain what the debt was.

We had what I like to call the “Big 3”!

  • Credit cards
  • Student loans
  • Car Notes

These are the three things that keep the middle class in the middle class and prevents you from building wealth.  Once I was introduced to Dave Ramsey, my whole philosophy about personal finance changed.  A fire was ignited in me to get us out of debt, stay out of debt, and build wealth.

May Online Income Report!

may-online-income-reportI’m so excited to share my very first online income report! YAY! Income reports have been so motivating for me and one of the reasons I wanted to start my blog.  It’s not about the money.  It’s about proving to myself that I can do it!  Creating a profitable online income stream is something I want to prove to myself and you!  These reports are going to keep me accountable and inspire me to work harder.  I hope they do the same for you!

Its so important to have different streams of revenue.  I used to think the only way to earn more money was through a raise with my 9-5.  What I’ve learned over the past few months, is that diversifying your income stream is a great way to increase your income.  The internet makes this possible in a somewhat easy way.  I’m not saying its not a lot of work but I think its totally worth it.

I haven’t monetized my blog yet, so all of my online income is currently coming from Google Adsense.  I monetized my youtube channel as soon as I was able to.  For those that don’t know, when youtube videos are monetized, ads can run in the beginning, middle, or end of a video.  The youtube creator gets a portion of that ad fee that a company pays to google.  Youtube creators are not paid by subscriber count.  They are paid by number of views.  There is a VERY complicated algorithm that no one really understands except the people who wrote it….lol.

something that most of us face when you trying to reach our financial goals.

My husband and I experienced this a couple of years ago.  We were in the middle of getting out of debt and felt like random expenses were just falling from the sky.  We had to have our house painted, pay for a busted pipe at our rental home, pay hefty car expenses all within a matter of months.  This is when we first experienced BUDGET BURNOUT!  It didn’t last long and we eventually still met our financial goals.  I have a few tips that helped us during that time and ways to prevent it from happening.
